I'm glad I have a place like Newgrounds for times like this. Wether people agree with me or not, I have no fear in expressing myself- or in this case, venting my outrage. Anyway, in relation to that, here is my personal summary of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, which ended less than an hour ago:
UTTER SHITE.
I must stress, before progressing any further, that I have no racial issues with Norway (the winners). I do, however, wish to put a hit out on the performers who represented Norway.
I simply cannot believe that that overrated, singing-lessonless, "cute" PRICKFACE won. Not only that, but according to the points he was the best Eurovision entry ever... better even than Andrew Lloyd Webber- the one who wrote and partially performed our song- THE BEST COMPOSER IN THE WORLD.
That is not a biased statement, that is statisticaly proven.
It's not that I'm not happy for our country (hell, the best we've done in over 7 years), it's just that I'm unhappy for the winners. He couldn't sing, the song and performance was quite simply boring, and he was SOOOO copying Dima Bilan (last year's winner). Doesn't deserve to win IN THE SLIGHTEST. I partially blame the new judging panel the installed.
Please comment if you too have been subjected to a level of unenthusiastic heaven. While I'm at it, my favourite performance (aside from my own country's) was Serbia's... even though they unfortunately didn't get through too the finals.

Why is it that we are allowed to say fuck, shit, cunt, bastard, piss, arse/ass and minge but not the N word that is n****r? As you can see, only the latter word was censored with *. I am aware that it is racist, but many people would find the first 8 curses equally offensive. So why leave them for all to see as well?

The worst animations- or excuses for animations- on the portal. Sh*tty things like "beast boi" and "Metal Gear Funnies". God knows why Tom Fulp let them pass judgment unscathed, but the fact is they are here, and we newgrounds users just have to live with that, sadly. When you watch these, I bet your first instinct is to vote 0 and write a review saying how much it sucked and how the author deserves to die.
Don't.
By all means, vote 0, but do not review it if you really want to make the animator suffer. These people are attention seeking lowlifes. Reviews and hatemail are their nutrition. No, no, what they really hate is being ignored, but at the same time knowing that people hate them and their work. So if you truly hate them, don't hate them, but only their animations, if you see what I'm saying. Vote 0 and never watch it again. That hurts them, trust me.
