Holy f*ckballs...

Wasn't expecting any of that from the preview. Whole lot of epic stuff happening there. I loved it :). Funnily enough, I was thinking about MC yesterday for the first time in ages... lol.
Just one thing: This has to be the biggest gap in release dates ever in the MC series (over a year, wasn't it?). The gaps seem to be getting bigger between each episodes... I hate to think how long it wil be before number 10 arrives.
Oh, and another thing: Does this mean Tricky will never return? He was my favorite...

In my opinion, this has all the makings of a real hit. The best song made for the internet I have ever heard, without a doubt. Give yourself a pat on the back, man, this is a bloody masterpiece.

Well...

Half of it was hilarious, half of it was nauseatingly boring. It had it's moments, both good and bad.
Mostly bad... hence the 4.
For a start, when Snake said "shut up" near the start, and sometimes when a few of the characters rant on a bit like it isn't actually a parody (namely Otacon) made it seem like something of a sad imitation of Egoraptor's work. And the most "nauseatingly boring" part had to be when Snake said "what the eff?". That was utter crap.
But, like I said, parts of it were funny. When Naomi kept getting hurt, for example, and Snake's appearence when Raiden called him old.
Back to the bad parts, the animation on the characters- particularly Meryl- was far too smooth. It kind of ruined the Awesome atmosphere that the original cartoons deliver.
Script and a little animation is what needs work, really.

And don't listen to SirPat (below me). He ignorantly implies that no-one but Egoraptor can effectively spoof Metal Gear Solid. And he's wrong when he said "why would you make a metal gear awesome 4?" and "Metal Gear Awesome is his series!", because this is not Metal Gear Awesome, it is Guns of the Awesome. When/if Egoraptor does get on to his 4th episode, it will probably still be focusing on Metal Gear Solid 1- and he's hardly likely to skip ahead.

Anyone reading this who hasn't seen SirPat's review, it's the one right before me. You should really look at it- a real insulting rant of the "I'm right and your wrong" variety.

Wow... that was a long one.

It's usually only Metal Gear Awesome that lasts more than two minutes. The length and large number of characters really brought out your voice acting talents, and Josh Tomar's as well. I see it also led you to using a lot of frames in more than one place... but that only actually brings a bit of intelligent comedy to the whole thing, unlike the majority of your other work (No offense, but half it's fame does come from randomness).

A nice animation, and dude... it's only part 1? Heh... workin hard, then.

Finally! What an epic success! I've been rocking backwards and forwards in my chair waiting for volume 5 for ages, and you sure didn't fail to deliver! I really didn't think you could top the other ones, but the jokes, animation and all-round goodlyness surpassed all!
